Easter Fun Event 24 March 2018

Thank you to everyone who attended our Easter Fun Event.  The weather wasn’t brilliant but it didn’t stop us all having lots of fun.

The children enjoyed finding all of the Easter pictures to win a yummy Easter Egg prize and were great at making Easter bunny hats and colouring in Easter finger puppets on the crafts tables.

Our Easter crazy golf game; ‘egg & spoon’ races and jumping in to the bubbles (being made by our bubble machines) were all enjoyed.

Many children had their face painted, hair braided and/or a temporary tattoo put on, they looked amazing.

The Lucky Dip provided some exciting prizes and the ‘Name the Lamb’ competition was popular with ‘Peppa’ being the winning name.

There was also a Target bowling game; a massive Tombola stall; an Easter selfie area with Betty Bunny & Lauren Lamb to assist; some delicious cakes, biscuits & chocolate eggs in the refreshment area and some general toys out in the Little ones play area.

The event raised an amazing £390.

Thank you to everyone who came & supported us/ donated prizes and to all of the Committee, parent helpers & Staff that helped on the day, we couldn’t run it without you.

  • making shields for our role play area;
  • bursting bubble wrap with rolling pins;
  • colour mixing;
  • talking about healthy eating and the effects of exercise on our bodies.

We close today for Easter and reopen on Monday 16th April.  Have fun… don’t eat too much chocolate!

Valentines Disco 10th February

It was amazing to have a sold out event for our valentines disco this year and to enjoy the music and lights provided by Paul from Echo Disco.  We were particularly lucky to have hot dog sausages & rolls supplied by Sauls of Spratton butchers, which were extremely popular (in addition to the pizzas and other refreshment goodies).  Children (and adults) enjoyed the glowsticks, LED finger lights & punch balloons on offer, which gave the disco a great feeling & atmosphere.

The staff and committee at the event had a wonderful time and feedback has been that everyone enjoyed it.

Thank you to everyone who bought tickets & attended the event and to everyone who helped the event take place (and of course to Paul from Echo Disco for keeping us all dancing).
