Christmas Fair
The Christmas Fair this year was on Saturday 2nd December 10.30-12.30pm. It was a lot of fun and busy.
There was a lot of things to do including:
Raffle, Luxury Tombola, Lucky sweet cups, Crafts for Kids, Face painting & Hair Braiding, Children’s Advent Tombola, Find Santa’s hat, Drop the Nose on Rudolf, Refreshments & a special visit from Father Christmas in our amazing grotto.
A massive Thank you to everyone that attended & helped out, your support is very much appreciated. Also a special Thank you to all companies & individuals that donated items. With all your help the event raised £1,347.53, which is a fantastic figure.
We will advertise what the money gets spent on in due course (if you have something specific that you think the pre-school would benefit from purchasing then please do let Emma Hinde or a member of the Committee know).
The Pre-School Committee & Staff would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

Child progress sessions
16 June 2017
Parents/carers joined us for the Childs Progress Session on Friday 16th June to review their child’s ‘learning journal’ and see what their child has been doing at Pre-School. The Learning Journal aims to record, track & celebrate the progress of each child and it enables us to monitor development & learning as well as use it to establish areas for a child’s next stage of progress, this ensures every child has a learning journal unique to them.
These Child Progress Sessions are run once a term, but please remember that you are able to review your child’s learning journal at any time, just ask (unfortunately the learning journals can not be removed from the building).
Easter Fun Event 6 April 2017
It was a glorious sunny day for our Easter Fun Event. The children had loads to do with doing an Easter Picture Hunt (for an Easter Egg prize); making a daffodil & chick card crafts; playing skittles & ‘egg & spoon’ games as well as playing with the indoor & outdoor play equipment put out for the event.
Many people won on the Tombola and there was one lucky winner for the ‘Guess the number of eggs in the jar’ (which was 237).
35 children had their faces painted (I’ve never seen such a long waiting queue).
In addition we were joined by Tony from Best Kids Parties who entertained us with masses & masses of bubbles for the children to chase.
The cakes, cookies & biscuits available were yummy & everyone seemed to have an amazing time.
The event raised an amazing £365.
Thank you to everyone who came & supported us/ donated prizes and to all of the Committee & Staff that helped on the day.

What an amazing event the Valentines Disco was, full of great music and lots of punch balloons, glowsticks, LED finger lights & food. There was also a gift stall selling a selection of Valentines goodies.
The children and adults looked like they had a fantastic time and especially enjoyed the foam, face paint & toilet roll fun with the DJ.
Thank you to everyone that came along and with your help we added a very important £200 to our fundraising pot.

They Did It!
James & Scott have completed the Half Marathon & raised a fantastic amount for the our Preschool. I would like to say again, thank you to Scott and James for doing this for us and also to everyone who supported them and the preschool with sponsorship.
You raised an amazing £175.
Below are some words from James & Scott and a few pictures.
“After a very early start on an extremely cold Sunday morning Scott and I lined up with 4209 other enthusiastic hopefuls in the middle of Coventry City Centre. At 09:00hrs we set off for a very picturesque (although it felt never ending) 13.1 miles around Coventry city and the surrounding countryside. After several miles the sunshine finally broke through the clouds and with the support and cheers of countless spectators who lined the route we churned up the miles and crossed the finish line in very respectable times – although we were beaten by a runner dressed in a fancy dress dog costume !!
I know the money you all helped raise will be put to good use and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to everyone for your support and kindness” James.
Valentine Disco 13 February 2016
Thank you to everyone who came to the Valentines disco, a fantastic evening with great music, a lot of glow sticks, balloons and food. The children all looked like they had a great time and had put on their party clothes & the adults too. My highlight was the superman song which took me back to my school disco days!
With all of your support and help we raised an amazing £250 which is very much appreciated. Thank you also to the staff who came to help and the committee members who made this possible. Enjoy the photos.
